Robert C. Elfont
Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Criminal Defense, General Civil Matters
Overview
Bringing over 30 years of experience to the table, Attorney Robert Elfont has built a strong reputation for keeping things real and getting results for clients all over the state of Connecticut. Since joining GLO in 2018 and becoming a partner in 2021, Rob has focused his practice on personal injury law, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense, as well as general civil litigation. Rob currently leads GLO as our Senior Partner.
Rob started his career as a clerk in the Hartford Judicial District where he was assigned to multiple judges and courthouses throughout Hartford County, learning all the things not to do in a courtroom. Rob then moved to private practice in Hartford handling general civil matters and court-appointed representation for minors and adults in both criminal and administrative matters. Eventually, Rob found his niche and began to focus on personal injury work, eventually expanding his scope to add workers’ compensation cases. Moving to GLO allowed Rob to return to his roots and get back to providing a more compassionate alternative for comprehensive legal services to the community that he’s called home for the last 25 years.
Rob is a sports fanatic, especially loyal to all of his hometown Philadelphia sports teams (Go Birds!). He is a nationally-ranked amateur bowler with 13 perfect games on his record. Rob’s interests also include playing tennis, drinking whiskey, attending concerts, and maintaining a perfectly manicured yard at his home in Danbury.
